Randolph, Brookfield, Chelsea, Williamstown
We started this ride by parking on the side of the road, beside a cornfield. In the beginning there is a lot of climbing- about 700 vertical, up to 1,200 feet of elevation, and then it is high ridge travel, with small ups and downs for miles. This route is 100% gravel, and the road width varies throughout, but the traffic is almost non-existent.
There are plenty of nice views to the west, with beautiful farm fields and open hardwood forests. It is hard to beat a route like this for gravel riding in Vermont!
