Ira – A Single Village Ride

This is a super short ride – but necessary to get Ira. We parked at the Park and Ride parking lot across from the Ira Town Hall and kids park. This is a village center with nothing more than a town hall, a church, and a Park and Ride parking lot, so it didn’t take long to see it all. The funny thing about the Park and Ride was that it is so under-utilised that they had painted a pickle ball court onto the the park and ride parking lot with signs that say, “Don’t park on the pickleball court!”

From the Park and Ride you bike due west toward the hills or Ira. Very quickly you come to West Road, that runs left and right. We turend left originally, and rode until the road ran out. We then turned around and road rioght, where the gravel gets wider and better maintained.
