Strava says that this route is 26% paved, 58% gravel, and 16% class 4. I call it 74% dirt/gravel. The paved portion could have some traffic, but not like a state route. These are town paved roads. Biking is popular in this area, and te gravel is good!

Starting at Hartland 4 corners, you ride south to Jenneville on Brownsville Hartland road (paved).
You then ride up Jenneville and continue up Reeves, nice gravel roads next to a brook. Morgan Road is more climbing, and the residences up here are historical and beautiful.

You are crossing town lines Woodstock, W.Windsor, as you go up to the height of land on Rush Meadow Road gravel. Horse farms and expensive spreads in this section, as you glide down Rush Meadow to Wardner on the right. It is more elevation and more great scenery. You touch into Reading on Spear Cemetery Road (gravel), and then back into W. Windsor coming down Barton, which is a class 4. This bit is a little rough, but great gravel biking.

A few feet on Rush Meadow, then onto Sheddsville, which is gravel. The road goes uphill and then down on that, to then north on Brownsville Hartland Road paved to Hammond Hill gravel and a big hill to get over, nice houses in this section, views of Mt Ascutney in places.

Then you take a right on Weeden Hill Road, that’s a good downhill on gravel to County road paved. Up Country Road and then down to Brownsville Hartland Road also paved and back to Hartland 4 corners.
