Barre City

This is a short one-and-done ride just to snag Barre City. It is a half hour ride that is 4 miles long, with 433 feet of elevation gain. It includes a short one mile section of a really nice rail trail that is definitely worth the visit.

We parked at the edge of a farm field at the corner of Prospect Street and Morrison Rd. There was a beautiful view from this area. We then headed along Prospect Street and through the Dewey Wright Cemetery, on a lovely bluff overlooking the surrounding countryside.

Then the route heads down, down, down into Barre City, through town and onto the Barre Bike Path. This mini-route then heads back up to Prospect Street and back to start. Short and quick.
